Hello there! Thanks for stopping by. It seems that more people check up on me on Facebook than here these days, but I will be adding new content all of the time. Take a look around and be sure to sign up for my mailing list.

  Me at Brewhouse

I first picked up a guitar and actually learned how to play my first chords when I was 14. From that moment I knew that I was a musician. For the first time in my life I felt like someone. That moment changed the direction of my life forever. I had all of the dreams of fame and fortune that all kids do; but mostly I just had a love for playing music and singing.

I have spent over 30 years of my life living in this dream (and sometimes nightmare). Now that I am growing older I am really realizing how fast time goes by and how fleeting our dreams truly are.

I have always seen myself as an artist; whether when writing, recording, producing, playing or performing. But right now I am focusing on my own songs and my own voice. I was always the white boy in a black band and I was always trying to be more soulful than my competition because I thought I had to be.

I even had producers and record label execs ask me; “could you sing a little blacker?” As crazy as that sounds it is the truth. After singing all of my life - and professionally for most of it - I feel that I am finally finding my own voice and my own sound. Its like the Tori Amos song says; In some ways I have been “silent all these years.”

In the coming months and years I will be sharing this new music of mine with all of you. If you like it please tell your friends about it and spread the word. Also I want to thank all of you who have come out and seen me perform night after night, year after year. You have allowed me to make my living doing what I love and was born to do; Nobody will hire you if nobody comes out to see you.

Thank's so much. to all of you who have supported my music over the years.

I am happy to announce that a CD of the Soundtrack from the movie "Return of the Magi" has been released. I composed and recorded all of the music on the CD. There are 11 tracks, and they are all vocal songs with me singing.

The movie is in limited release via DVD but you can order the soundtrack CD right now on my Music Page.

You can catch me somewhere almost every night of the week. Come out and say hello. To see my schedule go here.
